Actually! This was a very clever setup by a team of divers in the Arctic, I believe. The person is upside down, their bouyancy belt calibrated just so that they are slightly lighter than water, and able to walk upside down on the ice. In the first segment, when his mask vents, watch the bubbles flow DOWNWARD, which is really the up that we know. Science is really fricking cool!
Luke B. Goebel /// Fourteen Stories, None of Them Are Yours
Not every book is alive. Not every living book feels as if it could punch you in the face. Not every book that throws a punch does it lovingly, with a madman’s grace, as if you needed to start seeing out through the back of your head and this was the only way you were gonna. Goebel is some hell of a furious mystic, his touch annihilating whatever can’t be transformed.
Gorgeous Puffin in Bloom editions illustrated by Anna Bond from Rifle Paper Company! Beautiful artwork on those endpapers and cover, plus special bonus materials at the end of each book. Including, of course, a recipe for raspberry cordial.
